INTRODUCTION |
1. School history
The school was founded on September 20, 1952, with the name Kaohsiung
Jhongsiao National School in Yancheng District.Originally, Mr.
Chen Yi, the principal of Yancheng National School, was designated
to prepare, arrange and co-ordinate the establishment of the new
school.
Since the school had such a long history, the school buildings gradually
became old and some parts crumbled causing some danger. Therefore,
the principal, Mr. SIYU,JI-WUN, and the director, Mr. CIOU,CIAN-HUEI,
actively made efforts to dismantle and remodel the school buildings
year by year. In 1996, all the school buildings took on an entirely
new look. They provided the students with a brand-new learning environment
